Nebu Nezey took the honor in 2012 followed by Humble Jow in 2013. To keep our supporters in suspense, we kept our 2014 “Entertainer of the Year” a mystery until the evening of our banquet 12.13.14. This year’s honoree first introduced himself to us Summer 2013 showing interest in collaborating with us. January 2014 he brought that vision to life by having Mr. Spoken Red live on his morning talk show on Z105.9 FM. It was at that very moment the two young men formed a unique bond therefore resulting in multiple collaborations throughout the year. This honoree has affiliations with Southern University, New Orleans Hornets and Z105.9 FM just to name a few. We chose this honoree for his talk show has influenced so many lives and has blessed us with unlimited exposure through his humility and respect for our movement. We salute Joe Dupree-Anderson leaving a voice in the entertainment industry both on and off air. Join us in congratulating Joe throughout December 2014. Spotlight 10 of 10: Official Debut of the 2015 Calendar Models
It’s all about history in the making, right? Most definitely yes with this productive group of young men and women as they make their official calendar model debut for our 7th Annual Calendar Edition 2015. For the first time ever, we conducted video submissions instead of the routine photo submission and were heavily impressed with the entries! In addition, we allowed past models to enter for the first time and presented 3 nominations. In the end, 5 returned and 7 were new. This 2015 theme, “Not Just Red…Spoken Red” represents our extraordinary mindset to develop beyond the norm. SRE enters 8 years of business and looks forward to conquering larger business goals. These 12 men and women define what achievement is designed to embark. Join us December 13th as we officially release our 7th Annual Calendar Edition, deliver special awards to the calendar models in which you voted for and overall name our 2015 Calendar Model MVP who will serve as our Year Round Brand Advocate. Models will autograph calendars on site upon request. Ticket sales end tonight! See you all Saturday Dec 13th! Spotlight 9 of 10: 2014 Legacy Award: The Family of the Late Allen Bellard, Sr.
When you look up the word “humanitarian” in the dictionary, you should see a photo of this legend. March 17, 2014 was one of the hardest days to take in as one of the most influential lives transitioned over into the heavens. The Late Allen Bellard, Sr was the ultimate humanitarian providing joy, love, support and honor unto so many. The Late Allen was well known for his humor making us laugh with his incredible French accent. What we adored so much about the Late Allen is his love for God and his family. Although he has transitioned, his legacy continues to live on through his remarkable family. The Bellard Family serves as a 2nd family unto us for the unity, love and support they provide. We salute Allen for all of the years he has blessed us with on Earth to continue to strive and believe that greatness is to come. With a mindset and attitude like his, you can’t even think about being a failure. Join us December 13th as we pay tribute to the Late Allen Bellard, Sr. at our 7th Annual Honors Banquet.
