The first month of the year and truly flown by from Louisiana weather changes to new political officers being sworn in. I am ecstatic to have been chosen to be a board member for the Greater SWLA Black Chamber of Commerce. In addition, I will be serving as the 2016 Banquet Chairman for their annual event scheduled April 15, 2016 at the Cajundome Convention Center. So may I ask you all, "Are you moving forward or remaining stationary?". If you haven't gotten the ball rolling for your success, what are YOU (not anyone else) waiting for? It was truly a blessing to attend the Living Your Destiny Conference last week in which Pastor John Barton gave one powerful message. His musical guest, Grammy award winner Tasha Cobbs, was truly powerhouse and raised the atmosphere high. I am thankful that I was able to attend once again with my immediate family and church family. Barton quoted, "Faith can only grow in the storms of life."
